Set an owner PIN
A PIN lets you prove it's you when you call your own line and your phone company doesn't vouch for your number. How it knows it's you explains when that happens.
- Sign in and find Owner PIN on your home page.
- Press Set a PIN (or Change PIN).
- Type 4 to 6 digits and press Save PIN.
To turn it off, press Remove.
Using it on a call
When Jesse asks for your PIN, type it on the keypad. Don't say it out loud.
- Press
#when you're done, or wait 3 seconds. A sixth digit sends it right away. - Press
*to start over. - You get 3 tries per call. After that, the call goes on as a regular caller's.
Your PIN never shows up in the transcript or the summary email.
