Your calls and your data
Jesse hears every call to your number, so here's what it keeps and why.
What's kept
- The transcript and summary of every call. That's what lands in your inbox, and what's listed under Calls on your dashboard.
- The audio. Speech recognition sometimes gets a street name or a last name wrong, and the recording is how we check. Each call's audio is kept while your account is active. Thirty days after your free month ends without a subscription, or after a subscription ends, the audio is deleted. Transcripts and summaries stay.
- Your business details, your directory, and your email.
Who handles it
Twilio carries the calls and texts. Cloudflare hosts the service and runs speech recognition and the voice. The language model that writes the replies runs on Cloudflare or on other AI hosts, depending on which answers fastest. They handle your calls only to provide the service. We don't sell your data or your callers' data.
Your callers
Every call starts with the receptionist saying it's a virtual assistant and asking if it's okay to transcribe the call. If the caller says no, it doesn't take a message.
